Dr. Aarthi Sankaran

Dr. Sankaran is a Richmond native who grew up fifteen minutes away from the hospital. She graduated veterinary school from the University of Minnesota in 2023 and is so excited to be back in Richmond, serving the community and their furry family members. Dr. Sankaran's professional interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography, and geriatric pain management.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Sankaran enjoys reading, attending comic cons, and having board game nights with her friends. Whenever possible, she is joined by her beloved partner-in-crime, Ahsoka the husky.
